Sincerely speaking, this is very weird, especially when it happens in Africa, in the villages and the general public of African origin. It makes the people have bad feelings internally about themselves, psychologically and spiritually and bi...

Life is a mystery to be discovered . Along discovery journey are hills to be climbed and corners to be negotiated. Regardless of our social status, the journey of life isn't easy. We will run into bumps. We will run into slopes.

The journey of life will bring the good in us. It will also bring the bad in us. Sometime we will fall. Other times we will arise and shine. Sometime we will be disappointed and other times we will rejoice and be glad.

But amidst confusio...

Posted by john ambuli on Monday, October 7, 2013, In : OPINION

I might not be able to know whatever is going on in the capital city, Nairobi, but judging from what does reach where I am via the press and other medium of spreading news, I can, sincerely speaking, tell that the president is in a very tight situation.

There is more problem on his hands than there is good. I can’t remember them all but the latest is the Westgate mall attack. Why or how would Kenya get involved in the politics of the country of Somalia? Do we even fund the various politi...

Presidents and leaders world over depend a whole lot on their advisors, cronies and friends for sound or stupid decisions. Behind successful leaders are smart advisors. Behind insecure, stupid and dictatorial leaders are pinheaded advisors. I don’t know who advices president Uhuru Kenyatta. But recently, he has made some mistakes that shouldn’t be made.

That's why if you loved Uhuru, you will definitely take him aside and whisper words of truth and wisdom in h...

LET KENYA NOT CLOSE DADAAB REFUGEE CAMP

Kenya is making a big mistake in its plans to close down the Dadaab refugee camp. The political problems in Somalia aren’t over yet, everyone in this whole world still needs the camp with all it’s facilities and you don’t expect us to send back the weak ones in to war!! The women and the children, they are people who can not defend themselves you we stand tall and proudly declare that the camp is a security problem in our country.

Has God Answered Our Prayers Or Not Yet?

Posted by john ambuli on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, In : OPINION
By Jacktone Ambuka

A friend from Dubai called me yesterday. We both expressed our deepest sympathy for Kenya in the aftermath of Nairobi's West- Gate mall terror attack.

But as our conversation progressed, it was apparent that we have philosophical differences on how God answers prayers. He was of the opinion that we should continue praying for our country for God's will to be done.

But I said 'wait a minute.' God's will is already done. God has answered our prayers for prosperity...

We have manipulated your creation and resources for our selfish reasons. Our greed has caused poverty and hunger. Our insensitivity has caused injustice and broken hearts. Open our eyes to see how we ought to treat each other with kindness. Open our hearts to be compassi...

AGAINST THE COMMISSION OF INQUIRY INTO THE WESTGATE MASSACRE !!

Posted by john ambuli on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, In : OPINION
By Jacktone Ambuka

I vehemently oppose Uhuru's presidential decision to institute a commission inquiry into west gate mall massacre. History shows us Kenyan presidential commissions of inquiries are instituted to cover up the real issues, extort money from the public and protect real culprits.

A few examples suffice. commission of inquiry into the death of JM Kariuki. Commission of inquiry into Robert Ouko murder. Ngung'u Commission of inquiry into land historical injustices. Kiruki ...
