Dear Kenya: Unless We Demand Overhaul Of Our System,The worst is yet to com  !!

Call me a prophet of doom if you want. But I beg for your indulgence. Until Kenya [Jubilee administration] overhauls the entire system of governance including security infrastructures; and until Kenyans make a paradigm shift in their thought process particularly on their voting behavior-the worst is yet to happen.

You cannot entrust a drug trafficker with governor or senator position and expect him to Keep your children safe. Your children will be turned into zombies.

You cannot confer representation powers to a corrupt lawmaker and expect him to represent your interests. Your interests will be sold to the highest bidder.

You cannot entrust the leadership of the nation in the hands of a land grabber and expect a tranquil nation. Your nation will tumble into the depths of despair.

You cannot entrust security of the nation in the hands of officials whose bellies supersede patriotism and expect the love of the county. Terrorists will turn your nation into a playing field. Even the biblical principle is very clear: You reap what you sow.

My fellow citizens, look- attention is momentarily focussed on Garissa. Leaders pretended to be working. Don't believe them. After a month, we shall go back to slumber.

Tribalism will feed corruption, corruption will feed inefficiency and eventually, inefficiency will feed the collapse of the state. Ladies and gentleman: Don't sit or sleep pretty. The whole country remains badly susceptible to aggression.

Even in the shadows of cold blood massacres in Mpeketoni, Baragoi, Tana River, Westgate, Mandera and now Garissa; we haven't learnt a thing. Not a single prosecution has been achieved. Security apparatus seems incapacitated. Intelligence community seems clueless.

Sadly, policy makers are still doing the same thing while expecting different results, that is called insanity. As we speak, Alshabab could walk comfortably into any village across the country and wipe it flat without any difficulties.
